For some it is a dark, divisive very disturbing address to his country and to the rest of the world.
To others, it was cause for celebratory cheers and for hope that those who have seen their American dream dissolve for decades as factories and other businesses closed in their communities and re-opened beyond their country’s borders.
For Canada, almost right out of the gate of the Trump presidency, expect Trump to approve constructoon of the XL Keystone pipeline from Alberta’s tar sands to oil refineries in the southern United States, a .total reworking or dismantling of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) with the possibility that American-based auto and other industries will bring some or all of their manufacturing operatiions back home, and one less partner country in the battle to curb climate changing gases to the earth’s atmosphere.
