There Trump Goes, Slamming Canada Again

‘Oh, that Canada. Such a bad trading partner, taking advantage of the U.S.A as much as it can. All while its wasting its money on a public health care system.’

This coming from a Trump who has repeatedly said that Canadians would be better off if their country was a “51^st state.” And all of these latest slams against Canda coming once again this past Saturday, October 17^th in front of what looked like an enthusiastic crowd of his supporters in northern Kentucky.

The first thing I say to all of that is let’s go on keeping that Kentucky bourbon and all that state’s other hooch off shelves of our LCBCO stores in Ontario and off retail shelves across our country.

And while we are at it, continue to stroke Kentucky and ever other state in Trump’s America off our list of places to travel to until Trump is no longer in power.

Finally, there are some news reports that Canadian travel to the United States, while still significantly down from two years ago, ticked up slightly this past September and that is no good.

Don’t let your elbows down Canada!

Let’s all continue to stand up for our country by visiting the great places offered from coast to coast to coast here and by supporting as many home-grown businesses and purchasing as many Made In Canada products as we can.

This coming from someone who has many dear American friends. But I know that most of them understand and support what I am saying here.

And I know that many of them are as bewildered as I ans so many others are   that Trump continues cozying up to the strongman and tyrant in Russia, Vladimir  Putin, while pulling further and further away from America’s post Second Worold War  friends and democratic allies, including Canada
