In the wake of Prime Minister Mark Carney and his Liberals securing a majority government this past week, Lawrence O’Donnell, a lawyer, former advisor to Democrats in the U.S. Senate and now the host of a highly-watched cable news program on MSNOW (formerly MSNBC) called ‘The Last Work With Lawrence O’Donnell’, expressed nothing but praise for the way Carney and Canadians at large are standing up against the growing menace of Donald Trump.

Finally, let’s all continue standing together for our Canada by buying as many products as we can that are made here and that are sold in independently owned stores in our own communities, and by continuing to boycott as many American-made products as possible and by not crossing the border into the United States unless it has to do with necessary visits to family and friends.
As Canada Day 2026 approaches, let’s show Trump and his fanatical followers, both in America and here, that we are more determined than ever to stand up for our country and all of the values that we cherish in a free and democratic nation.
