A September song for you, shared by Doug Draper
Posted September 1st, 2026 on Niagara At Large
First it was the toxic air from smoke drifting in from wildfires in northern Ontario. Then came the severe winds and flooding rains, among the worst on record, that toppled trees, ravaged homes, businesses and farm lands in Niagara’s north end.
And yet in the middle of all of this, I had a guy working on the damage done to the basement of my home who insisted that climate change is a hoax.
As much as I love summer, this has been a pretty brutal one for way too many of us – so much so that even I am looking forward to this coming September 22nd when we leave the summer of 2026 behind.
So how about listening to one of the most uplifting September songs I know with a hope that the worst of the severe weather is behind us, at least for a little while.
The song is called September by the super group Earth, Wind & Fire and you can hear it by clicking on the screen below. Crank up the volume too –
