‘A Brief One from NAL publisher Doug Draper
Posted July 21st, 2017 on Niagara At Large
In case you missed the breaking news earlier this Friday, July 21st, Sean Spicer, the pit bull of a press secretary in Donald Trump’s White House, tendered his resignation, leaving cable news commentators wondering what that means for Spicer and his now former boss, the Tweeter in Chief.

Which one is the real Sean Spicer?
I’m more concerned about what it means for Saturday Night Live and how it will possibly do as well next season as it did in the last one with actress/comedian Melissa McCarthy’s brilliant cameo appearances as Spicer shooting it out with White House reporters.
Those appearances offered about the only humorous moments during what has otherwise been a six-month nightmare.

July 21st not April 21
Thanks Ernie – Fixed that one. I’ll use a cheap excuse and blame the heat earlier this afternoon for that one. How much cooler it was this April … too cool, as a matter of fact. Thanks for visiting Niagara At Large and reading the post on Spicy’s exit. NAL publisher, Doug Draper

The guy who is replacing him….hmmm, don’t think he’s any prize either. Blowing a kiss to the press core? A hedge fund manager? Wonder just what his ties are to Trump and money laundering, not to mention….you know….the mob thing. Just speculation of course.
The rats are deserting the sinking ship. How many have resigned in just six months and how many have refused job offers because they don’t want to work for (not with) Trump? Even rats know when to get out for fear of going down with the ship.
Poor Melissa. Well, she’s very talented and I doubt she’ll suffer that particular job loss.
