* The City has established a Vulnerable Assistance Registry <https:// webforms.stcatharines.ca/Fire-Services/Vulnerable-Assistance-Registry- Application> for eligible residents who require support removing water and waste from their homes. Pleasefill out our form </umbraco/
The City is provicing assistance to eleigable residents who requre support removingwater and waste from their homes or or call 905.688.5600 for intake support.
* Niagara Region has announced enhanced waste management service <https:// niagararegion.ca/waste/flood-response.aspx> following this week’s flooding, effective Monday, Aug. 3, including increased garbage bag limits and free tipping fees at Humberstone and Bridge Street landfills. - * The City is arranging additional support for waste removal, with the installation of large-scale bins at select City facilities (proof of residence will be required) early next week. We will provide specific locations and detail as soon as these arrangements are finalized.
- * The City has ended its significant weather event declaration at 4 p.m. today (July 31), but the City’s Emergency Operations Centre continues to be partially activated.
