Lest We Forget – Remembrance Day in Niagara, 2025

A Brief Comment by Doug Draper

It was heartening to go to the cenotaph located in a nice old park where I live in Thorold and see so many people gathered there on a chilly, snowy day for ceremonies to remember those who fought and lost their lives in past wars.

Hopefully these gatherings at cenotaphs all over Niagara and in regions across our country will inspire us to do everything we can to put an end to war and live in peace with all of our brothers and sisters around the world.

Here is a powerful song and video I am posting here with that dream of a more peaceful world in mind. To hear and watch it, click on following link and skip by the short Ads – Lest We Forget – A Tribute to Alec Penstone | A Powerful Remembrance Day Song Honouring Our Heroes”
