Local Initiative Project To Address This In The Workplace

It’s not always obvious. Sometimes human trafficking may not look like what we imagine.
The panel will speak to The Code of Conduct for Human Trafficking Prevention in the Niagara Region. This project seeks to support vulnerable populations in the Niagara region, including newcomers to Canada, through the development of a code of conduct that will be brought to local businesses and organizations for adoption, particularly in the hospitality and tourism industry.
The presentation will help us understand the scope of human trafficking and will also include other work that is being done in the community to fight trafficking.
