Taking a Little Time Off for the Holiday Season

It hardly needs to be said that these are rough times we have been living through over the past 22 or so months and the forecast for at least the next four to eight weeks, with this more infectious variant of the virus spreading around,  is that it could be a lot rougher.

I don’t mind admitting to you that as a constant consumer of the news, which I have to be to contribute news and commentary to a site like this, it has really been wearing me down.

Therefore, I am going to take a few weeks to rest my mind before diving into it again. This coming year we have important provincial and municipal elections in Ontario and I want to rebuild my strength to cover those and any and all other issues of interest and concern to our region of the world.

That doesn’t mean you can’t continue to visit Niagara At Large over the next couple of weeks to read already posted news and commentary and to share your own comments, if you wish.

In the meantime, I want to thank all of you who have supported this site with your visits to it and wish you a peaceful and safe Holiday Season.
