Will Niagara Region’s Council preserve Niagara’s natural environment for future generations?

The decision will be made soon (possibly soon as the next Regional Council meeting scheduled for Thursday, September 23rd at 6:30 p.m.).

In this short video, Liz Benneian from Biodiversity and Climate Action Niagara discusses what a Natural Environment System is, what the benefits are, why this important decision is being made now and why Option 3C is the best option.

The video also shows which Mayors and Regional Councillors have so far supported Option 3C and which haven’t and suggests what you can do to let your elected officials know what choice you want them to make.
