West Lincoln Mayor and Niagara Regional Councillor David Bylsma speaking out against COVID-19 protection measures at a large rally in St. Catharines, Ontario this past April. Many feel it really is time for this dangerous screwball to go.
Sadly, many people gravitate to such screwballs. He’s our own local Marjorie Taylor Greene. She equates masks to the Jewish gold stars worn during the Holocaust. I wonder if Bylsma also believes in Jewish space lasers causing forest fires as she does.
The worst pandemic right now is ignorance. Not stupidity but ignorance, simply not bothering to search out the facts.
We can’t soar like eagles if we flock with turkeys.

This comment, from retired Niagara, Ontario medical nurse Linda McKellar was a response to what is so pathetically left of any response by our neighours in the United States to deal rationally with issues of hatred and COVID-19.
I go with McKellar and disagree with those who agree with Bylsma and his anti-lockdown, anit-mask, anti-vaccine campaign.
This sign represents the kind of nuts Bylsma speaks for.
To hell with any municipal leader like you if that is all you care about science-based recommendations for putting an end to the worst, most-killing pandemic since the so-called Spanish flu of a hundred years ago.
You sir, as the veteran nurse said, is an ‘A-Hole’ of radioactive proportions.
Please just go back to your family and business in West Lincoln , and get the hell out of the rest of our lives Mayor Bylsma. People like you constitute a threat to my young daughter’s future.
