We are reaching out to invite you to a local roundtable discussion regarding Sierra Club’s Transforming Transportation ( report on November 18th from 10:30am – 12:30pm at UB Hayes Hall 402. 

This year, New York passed the nation’s most ambitious climate legislation which will phase out fossil fuels in our economy by 2050. Over 1/3rd of our greenhouse gas emissions come from the transportation sector.

But NY still hasn’t set a target or well-defined plan to address this polluting by the inequities in our current transportation system, a deep dive into the report, and a robust discussion. You can find more info and RSVP online by clicking here ( .

Note:  Parking is available at the NFTA Park and Ride and also we have permission to park behind St. Joseph’s Catholic Church located just south of the UB Campus.
