56 Kilometres of Breathtaking Autumn Landscape
The Niagara region is famous for its stunning fall scenes, from rolling hills lined with vineyards to roadside fruit stands offering locally grown produce, and Niagara Parks is no exception.
Run/walk/cycle along the Niagara River Recreation Trail that runs along the river from Fort Erie to Niagara-on-the-Lake, passing by heritage markers, famous landmarks and of course, the Canadian Horseshoe Falls.
Map out a hike at the Niagara Glen with the help of Niagara Parks’ new trail classification system and discover why this hidden gem has been a long-time favourite among hikers, boulderers and nature enthusiasts.
Don’t forget to stop in at the Niagara Glen Nature Centre for hiking tips, maps and to learn more about the fascinating geology of this designated nature reserve. Or check out the incredible view from Niagara Parks’ Whirlpool Aero Car, which soars high across the Niagara Whirlpool, offering a panoramic view of the stunning fall landscape.
Holiday Fireworks Over Niagara Falls Falls Fireworks displays will take place at 10 p.m. each evening (weather permitting) from October 11 – 14, with support from the Tourism Partnership of Niagara.
The Couch from ‘Friends’ Coming to Table RockThe legendary Central Perk couch is coming to Table Rock! Celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the worldwide hit, Friends, by taking a picture on the couch at Table Rock Centre overlooking the Falls this “Friendsgiving” weekend!
Replicas of the couch are traveling to iconic locations around the world, providing unique photo-ops for fans of the show. Reiger Begonia Display at the Floral Showhouse Niagara Parks’ talented team of horticulturalists at the Floral Showhouse have created a stunning design for this year’s annual Reiger Begonia display.
Celebrating the local harvest, the display incorporates lush greenery and vegetation with delicate blooms in a vibrant mix of fall colours.
The Floral Showhouse is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. 207th Anniversary of the Battle of Queenston Heights On Sunday, October 13, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Parks Canada and the Friends of Fort George will be marking the 207th anniversary of the Battle of Queenston Heights with tours and presentations held at Brock’s Monument in Queenston Heights Park. This occasion also coincides with the 160th anniversary of the current Brock’s Monument as well as Sir Isaac Brock’s 250th birthday (October 6, 1769).
Thanksgiving Menus at Niagara Parks Restaurants Table Rock House Restaurant From Saturday, October 12 to Monday, October 14, Niagara Parks’ newly renovated, Feast ON certified Table Rock House Restaurant will be offering both à la carte and prix fixe Thanksgiving menus.
Guests have their choice of appetizer followed by an incredible Thanksgiving entrée, featuring roasted Ontario tom turkey with spy apple sage stuffing and pan gravy, Yukon mashed potatoes and a harvest medley of brussel sprouts, striped beets and carrots with a house-made cranberry sauce.
Your delectable meal will conclude with house-made pumpkin pie with delicate Chantilly cream.

Thanksgiving Brunch On Sunday, October 13, Niagara Parks will be offering its incredible Thanksgiving brunch service at both its Queenston Heights and Whirlpool Restaurants.
Enjoy a delicious brunch infused with local ingredients, as you take in the breathtaking autumn views overlooking Niagara’s wine country and Niagara Parks’ world-renowned Whirlpool Golf Course.

As well, both golf retail stores will be offering 50% off on all clothing and 20% off all golf clubs and shoes.
