Thorold, Ontario — Thorold Mayoral Candidate Henry D’Angela wants to find out what is important to Thorold residents.  D’Angela has launched a survey so that Thorold residents can give him feedback on their hopes for their city.

“I talk to citizens at Thorold community events all the time,” said D’Angela, “but not everyone goes to events.  I want to make sure that every resident of Thorold has an opportunity to express their priorities and their concerns.”

“I want to reach the silent minority to make sure I can represent the entire population of Thorold.”

D’Angela is looking for feedback on a range of issues, from affordable housing to taxation. He and his campaign team will be going door-to-door this summer, talking to residents and dropping off surveys.

Surveys are available and can be completed on line at or dropped off at 12 Sentance Avenue in Thorold.

“I like to be proactive,” said D’Angela, “These surveys will help to ensure that I’m ready to meet local needs. …

“ I believe that resident engagement is critical to effective government.  By learning about what matters to residents, we can improve the quality of life in Thorold.”

Born and raised in Thorold, D’Angela was Mayor of Thorold from 2006-2010 and has continued in local government as Regional Councillor and on numerous boards and committees.
