A Statement by Ontario NDP transportation critic and Niagara Falls MPP Wayne Gates

Posted April 13th, 2018 on Niagara At Large

Queen’s Park – Ontario NDP transportation critic Wayne Gates issued the following statement:

“Once again Ontario drivers are being forced to dig deeper into their pockets to pay for their auto insurance because Kathleen Wynne broke her promise to bring down rates by 15 per cent.

According to new numbers from FSCO rates are actually going in the wrong direction altogether, up by more than two per cent for many drivers.

Doug Ford and the Conservatives  have  no plan whatsoever for bringing down car insurance rates and making life better for Ontarians.

Only New Democrats will end postal code discrimination once and for all and bring down rates by 15 per cent.  This time Ontarians don’t have to choose between bad and worse. People can elect Andrea Horwath, a New Democrat premier, who will bring change for the better.”
