Dear friends of animals

Animal Justice, a Canada-based legal action group for animals, has sent a post about our lax Canadian laws that allows bestiality!

Please go to the site below to sign a petition urging the Prime Minister to outlaw the sexual abuse of animals in Canada.

Canada has some of the worst animal cruelty laws in the western world. The laws are so outdated that in June, 2016 the Supreme Court of Canada was forced to rule that most bestiality is not a crime. Canadians were appalled by this, but over a year later the federal government has still failed to introduce legislation closing this disturbing legal loophole.

Tell Prime Minister Trudeau and the Liberal government that Canada must take animal abuse seriously by updating our animal cruelty laws to protect vulnerable animals from sexual exploitation.

Niagara Action for Animals (NAFA) is a non-profit, all volunteer charity devoted to ending all forms of animal cruelty through education, direct action and legitimate protest.

Unbelievable! Who even knew such stupid laws existed and that the laws are so slack?

Testing useless crap like cosmetics on animals resulting in agonizing burns on their skin, blindness and who knows what, is unconscionable. Who even needs cosmetics? Vanity = suffering. Of course some animal testing for health reasons is necessary but must be done humanely. Videos I’ve seen have made me sick.

Cruelty on farms is also inexcusable. I’ll pay double for meat if I know it is from an ethical farmer and preferably a local one. Battery cages and gestation cages are disgusting and workers who abuse animals should be fired and jailed. Humans can be disgusting and cruel creatures.
