How about telling Premier that, unlike what she has been told, there is more to Niagara than St. Catharines. Ask her if she knows where Port Colborne or Welland are?

  2. Wynne has — probably wisely — chosen to visit St. Catharines, long held by the provincial Liberals, and represented at Queen’s Park by a long-time Cabinet Minister, now Minister of the Environment. Although the budget passed, Wynne knows that her government is under scrutiny, and that she herself has a tenuous hold on power. It is a sensible course to try to keep the supporters she has than try to recruit new ones, at this point in time.

Dear Pat you forgot to mention Fort Erie. This is the part of the region that I call the lost continent of Niagara South yet we pay more than our share of taxes.

  6. I still have bad memories about the last time a Liberal Premier visited the Fort Erie area, the man said DMH would always be safe from closing, and then he said he would not put up the taxes on Ontario residents, he broke both promises, the Hospital is no more, and he then gave us the new health tax , and later he gave us HST. I do not have any faith in the words of our leaders, lying just like breathing, is second nature to those people.
