All She Wants For Her Generation & Generations Yet To Come Is A Future, Free From A Growing Climate Crisis That Is Wreaking Havoc On The Life-Sustaining Resources On Our Planet

Here is yet another young person, urging us to take real – not just token -action.
This past May 17th on the long weekend, CBC Radio’s program ‘What On Earth’ – an excellent weekly program on climate change- a segment was aired on the anxiety the climate crisis is causing for kids.
Particularly moving were the words of a 12-year-old girl that were played at the beginning of a program – words that all of her elders, particularly those who are not taking the climate crisis seriously should hear.
What she had to say brought tears to my eyes. Unless you are as greedy and as heartless as someone like a Donald Trump, a Danielle Smith (premier of Alberta), or any one of a number of Big Oil barons, it should bring tears to yours too, along with a resolve to DO SOMETHING.

Shame on those of us – particularly those in leadership positions in business and government – who are still not giving the climate emergency the attention it deserves
