Canadians Continue to Stay Away From Trump’s America – And That’s GOOD!

A Brief Commentary by Doug Draper that includes a News Story Aired this past April 27th on CBC’s The National

Says one Canadian to another; “Have you been across the border to the States lately?”

“No,” says the other without hesitation. “I won’t go over there until HE is gone.”

I have heard an exchange like this from my fellow Canadians, over and over again, as I have stood in lines at a cash register in a grocery store, crossed paths with people at a park or anywhere else.

I have barely ever  heard one person from our country of Canada say they are still crossing the border to the United States. In fact, the last couple my wife and I had a conversation with during a walk in a park,, as recently as this April 27th,  said they had sold their home in Florida because “they have had it” with the pro-Trump, anti-Canadian politics down there.

And we Canadians have to continue to NOT cross the border to the United States to Buffaly, N.Y., to Niagara Falls, N.Y or anywhere else until our American neighbours elect a president that treats Canada with respect and as a friend again.

The CBC’s National aired a news segment this April 27th  on the issue of Canadians crossing the border. It begins with casino and hotel operators from Las Vegas, true Trump country, having the nerve to come up to Canada to urge us to spend out money down there. If they have a problem with Canadians not visiting Vegas, go talk to Trump. To watch it, click on the screen immediately below –
