St. Catharines, Ontario – February is the month of love—and the perfect time to celebrate Canadian theatre and homegrown storytelling. The Foster Festival is delighted to announce its 11th season, featuring five productions, including four world premieres and one beloved Foster classic.
February also marks the launch of Foster February, a new fundraising initiative supporting the Fostered Playwrights Festival.
This season, no one is producing Foster world premieres, or as many Foster plays as The Foster Festival, so when we say “Get Your Foster Fix in 2026,” there’s only one place to do it: The Foster Festival.
“There’s something wonderfully comforting about a Norm Foster play. It’s a bit like stepping into your favourite neighbourhood café, or being welcomed to a friend’scottage, or sitting down at a table where the card game has been going on for decades and you’re finally being dealt in. You know you’re in for warmth, wit, and a few surprises—and that’s exactly what our 2026 Season is all about.

About the Foster Festival – The Foster Festival is a professional theatre company located in St. Catharines, Ontario, inspired by the work of internationally renowned Canadian playwright Norm Foster.
