A Response To America’s War Against Canada From Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, With A Few Words from Doug Draper At Niagara At Large
Posted February 2nd, 2025
This February 1st, 2025, after more than a month of threatening Canada’s sovereignty, recently inaugurated U.S. President Donald Trump signed a declaration of economic warfare against Canada that is designed to wreak havoc on Canadian people and Canadian businesses from coast to coast.
Later this February 1st, Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau publicly outlined a response to this declaration of war that he and his government planned with premiers across the country.
During his address, Trudeau also invited Canadians to take their own retaliatory actions by boycotting the purchase of Made-In-The-U.S.A products and taking whatever steps they can within the law.

P.S. – Shortly before Trudeau’s address to the nation, at a NHL hockey game between the Ottawa Senators and Minnesota Wild in Ottawa, there was an audible boo from Canadian spectators during the singing of the American national anthem – something that rarely ever happens, but something that reflects Canadian’s anger against Trump’s tariff war.
To cap off that episode, the Ottawa team beat the team from Minnesota six to zero. May we be just as victorious in America’s economic war against us.
