Here is a lawn sign for a U.S. Presidential Election that I never dreamed I would ever see in my lifetime.
And yet Donald Trump, who has been convicted on 34 felony counts in a hush money case, and who is still facing many more criminal charges, and who was convicted earlier this year in a civil case involving sexual assault, is still polling close enough to U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Kamal Harris that he could win another term in the White House.
Try to imagine that and what it says for tens-of-millions of Americans who continue supporting this disgraceful man.
God help the United States and the rest of the world, including Canada, if he wins.
Canada better be preparing plans now for what we and our other close allies are going to do to deal with the possibility of that.
For the first time in a very long time, there is hope across the border. You can feel it.
In the meantime, we Canadians need to reach out as soon as we can to every relative and friend we may know in the United States and urge them to throw their support behind Kamala Harris.

Michael Cohen, the former lawyer and fixer for the ex president Donald Trump, was a guest on MSNBC and stated that he is in the process of making arrangements to leave the US if Trump wins the election. He stated that people should take Trumps words of retribution seriously whether its the press, political opponent or former White House staff and if you were not loyal or spoke against him, you might just end up in jail. With a weaponized justice department the sky is the limit. Scary stuff!
