One response to “Buffalo, New York area Congressman Brian Higgs Urges All of Us to Stand Up for Ukraine

  1. One person last night remarked that a former situation comedy star became a President and inspiring leader while another reality “star” became a supposed President and……fill in the blanks.

Giving the medal to Biden as a gift from a soldier and the signed flag to Congress brought home to the American people and others around the world the fact that REAL people are fighting for all of us. It said real human beings, the Ukrainian people, are fighting and suffering for us and they appreciate the support which must continue to victory.

His speech, especially for one who does not speak English fluently, was inspiring and effective. I sure hope Ukraine gets what it needs because they MUST win. As he said it’s “Not charity but an investment”.
