Carole King’s Tapestry, one of the biggest selling albums of all time, celebrated its 50th anniversary earlier this year.
This past Saturday, October 30th, Carole King, one of the greatest singer-song writers of the past 50 or more years, received yet another just reward with an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a performer.
She has previously been inducted in the same Hall of Fame, based in Cleveland, for her songwriting power, along with her late husband, Gerry Goffin, for countless classics that have been covered by every artist from The Beatles to you name the individual artist or group.
This latest award was great to see for her talent as an on-stage performer.
Here she is in what , in my opinion, is one of her hottest live performances, doing a song she and her husband originally wrote for a popular girl group from the early 1960s called The Chiffons. Click on the screen below to hear it and check out what a totally hot piano player she is while you are at it –
