During a Global Climate Strike Rally in Germany on This Past September 24, 2021

If you happened to miss this urgent address delivered by the remarkable young activist Greta Thunberg to a large audience in Germany this past September 24th, please give it a listen. And please take it to heart.
If only we had a Prime Minister in Canada, let alone any provincial Premier across this country, speak about this climate emergency with that kind of passion.
“World leaders are talking about building back better, promising green investment and setting vague and distant climate targets as if to say that they are taking climate action,” Thunberg told thousands participating in the rally.
“However, the fact that we are in a crisis that we cannot build, buy or invest our way out of seems to create some kind of collective, mental short-circuit among our leaders.”
“We cannot leave this to our leaders now …. We need to become climate activists. … We want change and we deserve change.”
