From Niagara At Large to You, Have a Happy and Safe Easter

An Easter Day Message from Doug Draper at Niagara At Large

Posted Aril 4th, 2021

Here is wishing you a very nice and  peaceful and safe Easter as we continue to work together to come out of this COVID-19 nightmare.

With more potentially infectious and dangerous variants of this awful virus floating around, let us also hope – please, please, please – that we all heed the call from the best infectious disease experts on our continent, and not gather with people outside of our home bubbles on this Easter weekend.

And please, cast aside the Trump-like libertarian lunacy of some in our Niagara region and elsewhere to cast away masks, social distancing and other measures that have proved, around the world, to crush the curve on this virus and keep us safe.

Tigger the cat, a year ago, with an Easter bunny. We lost Tigger, such a friend and celebrity to so many who visited a Pet Valu store at the Pine Street plaza in Thorold, who so many looked forward to seeing while shopping for their own furry friends there. Photo by Pet Valu friend Joe Krawchuk.

Let us all be patient for, hopefully, just a little while longer, until we get through this dark dark journey and reach the sunshine on the other side.

Finally, all of the many of you who have been following Niagara At Large over the past few years on Facebook, Niagara At Large is kicking this social media forum to the curb for a number of reasons that have to do with the role it has played in the deconstruction of local newspapers across the country, and the Trump-like B.S. it continues to peddle.

So Please visit Niagara At Large’s website at www.niagaraatlarge.com ….

  • Hoping the Easter Bunny has been good to you, Doug Draper, Niagara At Large
