Today is the Day to Vote this Monster Out
A Brief Comment from Doug Draper at Niagara At Large
Posted on November 3rd, 2020, Election Day in the United States
The danger that Trump poses and the carnage that he has already wrought – not only on the health and welfare of people in his own country, but to the world – is, without a word of hyperbole, heart-wrenching and mind-blowing.
From the dishevelling of democratic institutions, the overturning of truth, the total disregard for facts and science, and the assault on fundamental human justice and decency, to the dismantling of environmental programs in ways that could harm property and lives on this planet for generations to come, the day of reckoning for this morally bankrupt con man and his legions of cultists and enablers – a day that should mark the beginning of the end of Trump’s reign of chaos, suffering, death and terror – may, at long last, be here.
It is Election Day in America and let’s hope and pray that enough of our American friends and neighbours do the right thing, and purge this monster and his crime family from our collective lives.

From a recent front page of the New York Daily News
Here is one last election campaign ad from a group of heroic, ex-Republican Party operatives in the U.S. that call themselves ‘The Lincoln Project’. It features late, soul musician Ray Charles’ recording of ‘America the Beautiful’.
Members of Ray Charles’ family, through the Ray Charles Estate, have reportedly never before allowed any individual or group to use any song the great artist recorded in a campaign ad. But they made an exception this time because they know how much is at stake, including all of the spirit that this song embraces.

Do the right thing, America!
Niagara At Large will have more to post on this and on other issues and events of interest and concern to our Niagara region and beyond, when we recover from this election.
Stay Tuned!
