BEAMSVILLE in Niagara, Ontario – Sam Oosterhoff, MPP for Niagara West, has been formally acclaimed as the riding’s Progressive Conservative candidate leading into the next provincial general election.
In an online Zoom Meeting, Saturday, chaired by riding president, Tony Joosse, the executive and membership of the Progressive Conservative Constituency
Association of Niagara West endorsed the acclamation.
“On behalf of the Progressive Conservative Constituency Association of Niagara West, Provincial Nominations Committee and our great Premier, Doug Ford, I am pleased to declare and announce our dedicated and hardworking MPP, Sam Oosterhoff, as theOntario PC Partycandidate for the upcoming general election,” said Joosse.
“Whether advocating for the redevelopment of our new hospital in Niagara West, standing up for rural Ontario or assisting constituents in the context of COVID-19, Sam is not only a strong voice for Niagara West, but the region in general.”
“It was a privilege to be acclaimed as the Ontario PC Party candidate for the riding in which I was born and raised and which I have served since 2016,” said MPP Oosterhoff.

As prescribed by the constitution of the Ontario PC Party, an official meeting notice was sent to local party members 21 days prior to the acclamation meeting.
