Niagara Falls, Ontario – Niagara Parks is pleased to welcome the Ride for Roswell, a binational cycling event in support of the Roswell Park Cancer Center, on Saturday, June 22.
The Ride for Roswell, which has 11 routes and covers 14 municipalities and two countries, raises funds to support cancer research at the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, New York.
The Niagara route brings approximately 1,000 cyclists across the Peace Bridge at Fort Erie; the cyclists then continue north along the Niagara Parkway to cross back into the U.S. via the Rainbow Bridge in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
To help facilitate the route through Queen Victoria Park, the following temporary road closures will be in place: Saturday, June 22
A single curbside lane closure in the northbound lanes of the Niagara Parkway from Upper Rapids Boulevard to Clifton Hill will be in place from 5 a.m. until 12 noon.

A full closure of all northbound lanes along the Niagara Parkway from Table Rock to Murray Street will also be in place from 5 a.m. until 12 noon. All northbound traffic in this area will be diverted to the southbound lanes, which will operate in an opposing traffic pattern.
Please note that lane closures may cause some traffic delays. Niagara Parks WEGO bus service will commence without disruption.
