The conversation about the Green New Deal in Canada is just beginning, but we know that it must create millions of jobs, fight injustice and inequality, and make our communities more liveable and safe.
How could this huge transition make life better in this country? These are the conversations we’re going to be having throughout the election period and in the months to come.

Speakers in various cities include Maude Barlow, El Jones, Naomi Klein, Avi Lewis, Kanahus Manuel, Pam Palmater, David Suzuki, Ingrid Waldron, Harsha Walia, and more.
Join us on this seven-city tour to hear from artists, activists, and community leaders about:
- How the climate crisis is impacting our communities
- Who’s responsible for the mess we’re in, and
- How the Green New Deal can build a better economy and society — and how we can make it happen.
Each evening will feature amazing speakers, art and music, and close with a “barnstorm” led by 350.org.
We’re going to fall in love with what’s possible. And we’re going to lay out our plan to win — together.
You’re not going to want to miss this. Reserve your ticket now!
Presented in partnership with Briarpatch Magazine, Canadian Union of Postal Workers, Climate Strike Canada, The Council of Canadians, Courage, Delivering Community Power, and the Migrant Workers Alliance for Change.

Author and activist Naomi Klein has been championing a “Leap Manifesto” for climate action in Canada for more than four years now.
The Leap is anew organization dedicated to advancing systemic change in the face of our intersecting crises of climate change, inequality, and racism. We do this through:
- bold storytelling and public interventions
- local organizing around climate and social justice solutions
- silo-busting movement gatherings.
More about The Leap – The Leap exists to inject new urgency and bold ideas into confronting the intersecting crises of our time: climate change, racism and inequality.
We work through storytelling and public interventions, local organizing around climate and social justice solutions, and silo-busting movement gatherings.
