Hail, Britannia!

‘Britons never, never, never shall be slaves,’ so one of the old British rallying cry goes.

Canada should no longer be a slave to Trump either – on Trade, on NATO or any other matter vital to the future of our lives

A Brief Comment from Doug Draper

Posted July 13th, 2018 on Niagara At Large

Trump landed on British soil this second week of July and right on cue, up in the skies above London went the Trump Baby Balloon, complete with diapers, small hands and a little phone for tweeting – all to the cheers of countless many British citizens who don’t want Trump in their country.

And who can blame them?

The nerve of this reality show character insulting and slamming Britain, along with Canada and other long-time allies, for not investing enough in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) after Britain took such a horrible pounding during the Second World War and it had to beg the United States over and over again to finally join the fight against Hitler’s Nazis.

By the way, when it comes to investing blood, flesh and money in military operations, where has Trump’s own family been in all this?

His grandfather, Friedrich, was a draft dodger in his native Bavaria (now part of Germany) before moving to the western coast of North America during the gold rush years of the late 1800s and, among other things, operating a brothel.

His father Fred never served in the U.S. military nor did he serve during the Vietnam War. And not one of his children did what countless hundreds of other young Americans have done during shooting wars in the Middle East and other countries overseas, and volunteers to serve in their country’s military.

But all of that seems to be okay with Trump’s cheering supporters as he goes on slamming Britain, Canada and other countries for not investing enough in the military.

So Hail Britannia and the countless tens of thousands of British citizens that marched in protest of Trump in the streets of London this July 13th. . And last but not least, hail to that Trump Baby Balloon.

LOVEITLOVEITLOVEIT!!!!!! Baby Trump, how apropos! A picture is worth a thousand words. Then he has the nerve to say that most British “like him”. He never goes where he won’t be worshipped because he is a coward whose narcissistic ego can only accept complete adulation.

The message was obvious to me but no doubt lost on him when, at his reception at Blenheim, the band played “Rule Britannia” that includes those very words….”never will be slaves”. Maybe someone will explain it to him.

His knowledge of history is abysmal and I doubt he knows much about WW2 except a couple of guys name Churchill and Hitler were somehow involved. He has no clue about history or things like NATO or Brexit. When questioned in Scotland during the election he revealed he didn’t even really know what it was.

None of them ever did military service yet he demeans people like the Khan family who lost their son (one of those AWFUL Muslim vermin who never experienced the good fortunes that Trump had dumped in his lap without earning it) and McCain who suffered horrible torture but was captured and therefore not worthy. Anne Frank was captured too! Does he despise her? He even made fun of McCain’s inability to use raise his arm due to having it broken and untreated by torture. He even made fun of a handicapped reporter. What a guy.

  2. Just goes to show that even little piggies might fly – and Trump everybody else. But not if the said “little piggies” aren’t clever enough!
