Statement from Niagara West-Glanbrook MPP Sam Oosterhoff in response to the Liberal government’s 2018 budget

Posted March 29th, 2018 on Niagara At Large

This  March 28th’s Ontario Liberal government  budget has given us what we have come to expect from Kathleen Wynne. The Liberals have promised to raise taxes even more and put our province even further into debt.”

“Far from the balanced budget that they had promised, the Liberals plan to run a 6.7 billion dollar deficit this year. We will be in a deficit until at least 2024.”

“Higher taxes mean less jobs and less money in the pocket of ordinary Ontarians.”

“If they are increasing raising taxes in an election year, what will they do in government?”

“This province has been suffering the effects of Liberal government for 15 years now. We simply cannot afford another Liberal government.”

“The people of Ontario have a clear choice on June 7th. Four more years of Kathleen Wynne wasting your money, raising your hydro rates and driving jobs away from Ontario – or a PC government that works for you, not for the insiders.”
