1.The Climate and Clean Energy Writer’s Group will meet on Thursday, December 14th from 6:00 to 7:30 at the Crane Branch Library, 633 Elmwood at Highland Ave., 2nd Floor in Buffalo, New York. This month’s topic is on Sustainable Investing. Think about it… Are the savings you’ve invested (401k, IRA, etc.) supporting things you believe in or things you dread?

Come hear experts with vision explore how we can invest in a sustainable future. For 2018, you can make a plan to do well by doing good! Speakers include JD Hartman, Sister Jean Sliwinski, and John Stith. Invite your financial planner to attend!

2. WNY Drilling Defense holds a weekly Vigil Against Shipments of Highly Radioactive Material Across the Peace Bridge. Because the weather is now frequently bad, the group decides whether or not to hold the vigil each Thursday.
