Over 35 Local Artists with Strong Ties to the Buffalo Region Participate

Buffalo, New York – For the eighteenth year, the social celebration of art, history, and community will take place during Paint the Town art auction and fundraiser at The Buffalo History Museum.
The fundraiser will feature both live and silent auctions, and will include a wide range of artworks by over 35 artists with strong ties to the Buffalo region. Proceeds from the auction benefit both the artists and The Buffalo History Museum.

Guests may view the works on display while enjoying passed hors d’oeuvres, a beer and wine bar, and desserts by Oliver’s Restaurant. The live auction led by Kelly Schultz will take place 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Chairpersons for the fundraiser are John & Shelley McKendry and Zack & Annemarie Schneider.
Artists featured in both live and silent auctions work in many different media, including photography, glass, oil painting, and watercolor. Participating artists and art donors include (as of this writing 10/13): Peter Ahrens, Paul Alico, Dennis Bertram, Karl Heerdt, Deborah Hill, Richard Kersting, Elizabeth Leader, Martha Marlette, Robert Masak, Grace Meibohm, Fran Noonan, John O’Reilly, Nancy Parisi, Russell Ram, Frank Reppenhagen, Alberto Rey, John Salmeri, Steve Siegel, Greg Tranter, Michael Wickham (more to be announced).
