About the Photographer Jerome Greenberg
- Today, Greenberg continues to capture the world around him. At 88 years old, the lifelong photographer is still never far from his camera. His work, stretching over seven decades, is both art and history.
- At age 16, Jerome Greenberg was given the keys to his family business’ delivery van and began delivering Oscar’s beverages around the city of Buffalo. At street corners and red lights, he reached for his camera and captured the street scenes of the day. Trolleys, burlesque marquees, pedestrians, and street peddlers found their way into his captivating black and white images.
