Don’t Let Others Dictate How We In Niagara Are Governed In The Future!
A Call-Out from Niagara At Large reporter/publisher Doug Draper
Posted March 19th, 2026 on Niagara At Large
I have already put something on about this upcoming zoom meeting organized by the Niagara citizens group A Better Niagara, but I want t0 put the poster on about it one more time.
If you are a citizens in this region, please do what you can to participate in this meeting and express your views on where Niagara should go on the very important issue of how we are governed in the years to come.
Here is the poster on the meeting containing the details for how you can engage in it. Please join the conversation and don’t let the politicians try to shut us out like so many have over the past number of weeks.
To read a recent piece from the citizens group A Better Niagara that Niagara At Large has posted on this meeting and on how you can register to participate, click on – https://niagaraatlarge.com/2026/03/18/join-us-for-lets-talk-a-citizen-led-community-conversation-about-governance-in-niagara/
This is our Niagara region – we, the people, live, work and pay taxes here too – and we should have just as much say in its future as Ontario Premier Doug Ford and those mayors and others in municipal government who bow down to him and his wishes here.
