You Are Invited To An Online Panel Discussion On This Issue Scheduled For This Wednesday, January 21st at 7 P.M. ET

A Call-Out from Animal Justice, a not-for-profit citizens group dedicated to protecting and preserving other species we share our lives with in Canada.

We hope you’ll join us for a special online panel TOMORROW (January 21st 2026) that will gather some of the top leaders in the movement to ban fur farms.

Fur farms cage foxes, minks, wolves, and other wildlife in tiny, barren cages on fur farms before brutally killing and skinning them for their fur. This cruel and outdated practice has been banned in countries around the world, and public opposition is stronger than ever.

But Canada has yet to act.

It’s time for Canada to join other countries in banning the killing of beautiful animals like this for their coats.

I’ll be hosting this panel as we go behind the scenes of the fight to shut down fur farming for good. We’ll discuss what’s actually working on the ground and dig into advocacy strategies that are driving real wins through public, political, and corporate pressure.

We’ve also just added yet another excellent speaker to the panel—Bogna Wiltowska from Anima International, who was at the forefront of the fight for the recent fur farm ban in Poland.

About Animal Justice Animal Justice is Canada’s only national animal law advocacy organization.

We believe that animals need lawyers, and our legal team works to protect animals from cruelty and neglect. Canada has some of the worst animal protection laws in the Western world, and our mission is to overhaul the legal system to better reflect our country’s values of compassion and justice for all.

Whether animals are used for food, fashion, experiments, entertainment, or in the pet trade, our lawyers fight for the legal protections that these animals desperately need and deserve.

A Brief Footnote from Doug Draper at Niagara At Large – It is so sad and shameful that in the year 2026, we are still talking about banning fur farmers in a country like Canada. When are our political leaders going to but an end to this!!

It is one more reason why –
