A Brief Message from Doug Draper at Niagara At Large

This Monday, October 6th as the sun sets, take a little time to look up in the skies above for the first full moon of the fall season – a super-sized ‘Harvest Moon’.
This magical sight lasts right through to dusk Tuesday and is a reminder to all that this is the season when markets and road-side stands are full of food grown and harvested by our local farmers.
On this Harvest Moon, more than ever, we should all make a special effort to support our local farmers and the produce of farmers from across Ontario and Canada as Trump continues to hit us with punishing trade tariffs.
Whether we are doing our grocery shopping at one of our many farmers markets in Niagara or at a grocery store, let’s make every effort to buy as much Canadian as possible and boycott anything produced in the U.S.A.
