Rain barrels help residents conserve water, lower household water costs, and reduce pressure on stormwater systems during heavy rainfall. The Town’s subsidized pricing encourages proper planting, watering, and maintenance of trees and rain barrels, supporting a healthy, long-lasting urban canopy and a climate-resilient future for years to come. Together, these small steps contribute to a more sustainable and resilient Lincoln.
