As of this last long weekend of summer, Trump and his tens-of-millions of MAGA supporters in the United States continue to target our Canada with punishing trade tariffs in the hope that they can bring us to our knees and make us agree to be annexed as a “51st state.”
Let’s continue to stand together with the pride and strength we have shown for the past seven months of this hostility coming from our neighbours and former friends to the south by waving our flag high and by saying no to travelling to the United States and purchasing anything that is produced there.
This Labour Day Weekend, let’s stay home in Canada and celebrate this great country that we are fortunate enough to live in.

A Brief Footnote – Our federal government should seriously consider barring all anti-vaccine Americans from crossing the border into Canada – especially in the wake of the Trump administration’s efforts to dismantle all vaccination programs and fire medical scientists that support vaccination as one of the strongest tools available in the world for preventing deadly disease.
