A Brief One from Doug Draper

If you like having close encounters with vintage cars from the 1930s, 1940s and beyond, along with a host of vendors and live music in a bandshell, there is a fun summer evening waiting for you – and we could all use some fun right about now, couldn’t we? – at Thorold’s Community Market.

I know that this brief report is a leap or more away from the usual news and commentary I post on Niagara At Large but here we are, in the final weeks of the dog days of summer and a good number of us are looking for a bit of relief from so much of the bad and ugly news we are being bombarded with, aren’t we?
So here is one nice outing in Niagara for you and there are others across our region if you do a little searching for them on the internet. And when you find something going on that you think you may like, do your heart and soul a favour and go.
