Remember when Doug Ford announced a multi-million dollar feasibility study for his Highway 401 tunnel fantasy?
Here’s what he didn’t tell you: his government already did a feasibility study back in 2021. It was quietly shelved, never released to the public and conveniently forgotten. Until now.
Why hide it?
Because the results showed that Ford’s tunnel would cost too much money, take too much time, and threaten public safety.
Now, Doug Ford wants to spend even more tax payer dollars repeating the same feasibility study.

At a time when housing starts are at a record low and people are struggling to make ends meet, Doug Ford is throwing your tax dollars at a tunnel that experts say could worsen gridlock and fuel climate pollution.
This tunnel will only benefit Ford and his network of wealthy developers.
We’re demanding the release of the full 2021 study and calling for an end to this costly, unnecessary project.
