Niagara, Ontario – Niagara Health is advising the public of a temporary service disruption at the Welland Hospital due to a recent pipe leak caused by ageing infrastructure.
Following a thorough assessment by our facility and clinical experts, the Welland Site Operating Room (OR) and related recovery areas have been temporarily closed for necessary reconstruction.
Our clinical teams are working tirelessly to reschedule procedures to our Marotta Family and Niagara Falls Hospitals, where possible, to minimize the impact on patient care.

Cleaning and restoration teams are actively working to repair the affected areas and resume operations as soon as possible.
