On This Mother’s Day, Here is To All Mothers – The Ones Who Are Here and The Ones Who Have Passed

“When I find myself in times of trouble, Mother Mary comes to me, speaking words of wisdom, let it be.”           – an opening lyric from a Beatles song  written by    Paul McCartney

Here is to all of the good mothers out there who carried us to this life and have done so much to nurture, to teach and to enrich our lives.

This Mother’s Day is a time to pay tribute to you and I also would like to share one song for the occasion.

It is called ‘Let It Be’ and then Beatle Paul McCartney said that he was inspired to write it after his mother Mary, who died when he was 14, came to him in a dream.

In that dream, he once said in an interview; “She was reassuring me, saying, ‘It’s going to be OK, just let it be.’ I felt so great. She gave me the positive words. I woke up and thought, ‘What was that? She said ‘Let It Be.’ That’s good.’ So I wrote the song ‘Let It Be’ out of positivity.”

On this Mother’s Day, ou can hear that song, performed by The Beatles, by clicking on the screen immediately below –
