Liberal Party Leader and Canada’s Prime Minister Mark Carney used some of his election victory speech this April 28th to pledge his determination to keep Canada sovereign and to forge stronger partnerships between our country’s provinces and territories, and between our country and other more friendly countries in the wake of Trump’s continued threats against Canada.
Carney also repeated his view that the partnership Canada has had with the United States over the past many decades before Trump “is over.”
