Niagara, Ontario – The Lincoln Chamber of Commerce is pleased to share the results of its latest survey on the impact of the escalating trade challenges with the U.S. on Ontario businesses.
In collaboration our colleagues across Ontario, we gathered insights from 600 Chamber Network members from February 7 to February 23, 2025.

Key findings include:
- * *Business confidence:* 60% of respondents do not feel confident in Ontario’seconomic outlook, with almost a quarter indicating they are not at all confidence.
Business impacts of U.S. Tariffs:
- *Seventy-seven per cent of businesses expect U.S. tariffs onCanadian goods to have a negative impact on their business.
Adapting business to U.S. Tariffs:
- *Half of businesses are confident in their ability to adapt to the ongoing trade tensions between Canada and the U.S.
