Wow! Did we make it through that winter?

I don’t know about you but waking up to a morning of bone-breaking cold and ice and hard patches of ice that are treacherous to walk on is not my idea of a beautiful day for anything but staying inside with the furnace cranked up.

Those heating bills were enough to bring a chill to your spine too.

But here we finally yard with days growing longer and birds chirping in the trees outside and daffodils and crocuses pushing up through the soil.

It’s the first day pf spring – a time for warmer days and new life – and I love it.  So I am going to leave you in a happy mood, I hope, with one of my favourite songs for spring by one of my all-time favourite groups from the 1960s called The Rascals.

The song is called ‘A Beautiful Morning’ and it was released on March 22^nd, 1968. Crank it up and enjoy by clicking on the screen immediately below –

I’m no doctor, but I don’t think it will do your mind and body any harm if you have that song bouncing through your head for the rest of the day.
