In this era of climate climate change, warnings like this are boming ever more frequent.
Large areas of downtown Toronto were under water last week after another 100-year storm hit the city.
That’s right – another 100-year storm!
Ontario’s biggest city has now been through three of these “once-in-a-century” events in just over 10 years . . . this isn’t just climate change any more, it’s climate chaos!
The signs are everywhere – at home and around the globe. Record-breaking wildfires, devastating hurricanes arriving earlier each year, deadly heat waves worldwide.
The weather is getting dangerous and still the Ford government refuses to heed the warnings and [present a credible plan](https://secure.gpo.ca/civicrm/mailing/url?u=200683&qid=102047561) to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Ontario.
In fact, they’re intent on making things worse – ignoring renewables while ramping up fossil gas generation, weakening conservation authorities, and plowing ahead with climate-killing projects like Highway 413 and the Bradford bypass.
