Important Changes to Niagara Region Transit Services To Begin July 2nd

NIAGARA REGION– Beginning July 2nd, 2024, Niagara Region Transit will unify its Niagara Specialized Transit (NST), NRT OnDemand, and Fort Erie Accessible Transit (FAST) services, with services provided by Voyago.

To enhance the rider experience, the integrated microtransit and specialized service will utilize the Niagara Region Transit Plus app as the central hub for trip booking and real[1]time updates.

Additionally, Niagara Region Transit is bringing customer support in[1]house and extending its service and booking hours to 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Currently, there will be no service available on Sundays and holidays.

This transition does not affect other specialty transit services, including Fort Erie Transit On Demand service which will continue to be provided by Regional Limousine on their current app until the current contract ends. On October 1, 2024, Fort Erie On Demand will transition to Niagara Region Transit operated by Voyago.

 More information on that change will be available at a later date. Niagara Region Transit is committed to supporting riders through this transition with in[1]house, local Booking Agents available to assist with app set-up, answer questions, and provide guidance on the new system.
