In its continued war on services and opportunities for young people in Ontario, Premier Doug Ford’s self-described “Government for the People” is cutting assistance for young people struggling to pay for a post-secondary education in the province as one more way to put money back in the pockets of his wealthy bakers.
These cuts to the Ontario Student Assistance Program – a program that has been in place for decades to help young people from lower-income families pay the costs of a college or university education – prompted Niagara Falls NDP MPP Wayne Gates to recently produce and post the following video message, which speaks for itself.
